Stockport Rocks! is about rewarding and celebrating our invaluable volunteer workforce. Without them, our, over 1,700, local charities, community groups and social enterprises in Stockport would not be able to run the vital community services that enable local residents to Live Well.
So we think they more than deserve a knees up celebration!
Stockport Rocks! is delivered in partnership with Stockport Council, Stockport County Community Trust, Marketing Stockport, Kao Data and a whole host of incredible sponsors to deliver a worthy celebration event for 400 guests at Edgeley Park. Find full list below.
Take a look at this years event in action below!

She makes people happier about themselves and changes how they think about nature. I am very proud of her, and she deserves an award.”

Students who previously struggled to attend are now consistently present in the classroom. From the very beginning, they have been instrumental in guiding the development of a new programme for local young people, ensuring that it genuinely reflects the needs, experiences and voices of young people in the local community. What makes Adam and Gracie particularly inspiring is their motivation to help others. Their ambition has never been focused solely on their own opportunities – instead, they have consistently thought about how they can create something meaningful for other young people who may be facing similar challenges.”
