Role

As a Volunteer Driver, you will help the people we support to lead more fulfilling lives by taking them to a range of places including social activities, work experience placements, day trips, school, and more. You’ll find making a difference becomes fulfilling for you too! Unlike many other volunteer driver schemes, you do not need to provide your own vehicle – we’ve got those, so no need to worry about wear and tear to your own car. We need help from people who can volunteer to drive in the Manchester and / or Stockport areas.

You'll need To be aged 21+ with a driving licence you’ve held for at least two years (OR to have a driving licence with a category D1 entitlement). If your application is successful we will carry out an Enhanced DBS check with children's and adults' barred list and driving licence check before you start in this role. You will receive full training and preparation for the role, ongoing support, and expenses fully reimbursed.
