SPARC is looking for individuals to join our Trustee/Management Team. This is a great opportunity to support a local mental health charity who has 40+ years of experience supporting local people who experience mental health difficulties.
SPARC is the umbrella organisation of a number of great projects including a counselling service, young adults, social activities and we also provide one to one support via contracts with local partners.

Role

Person specification for this role is as follows;

1. A commitment to SPARC’s Aims and Objectives
2. A willingness to devote the necessary time and effort
3. To attend meetings and to provide notice if unable to attend
4. Strategic vision
5. Good, independent judgement
6. An ability to think creatively
7. A willingness to speak your mind
8. An understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship
9. An ability to work effectively as a member of a team
10. Selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, openness, honesty and leadership.
11. A willingness to be available to all staff for advice and enquiries on an ad hoc basis.

All of this is supported and guided by the experienced trustees and the Manager.
You would be required to complete a DBS.
