Role
We are looking for Tea Party hosts, who can put on a Tea Party for our older guests twice a year for a couple of hours, usually on a Sunday - as impact data has shown Sunday is the loneliest day of the week for people who are socially isolated. At the Tea party there will be around 5 older guests, volunteer driver (s) and yourself. This is to help reduce loneliness for older guests, who may have gone weeks without speaking to anyone. Tea Parties are a lifeline for our older guests and can give the gift of friendship. If you feel you could offer a Tea Party in your home once or twice a year we would love to hear from you! Full training will be given and all Tea Parties have a group coordinator who will liaise with you over arrangements. When:
