We are a group of residents of Offerton Park housing estate coming together to make improvements to our estate and bring people together to encourage a community spirit

Role

On the last Sunday of the month, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, the community centre lounge is a Public Living Room!

It's a free, no-agenda, welcoming space - anyone can come along and meet with others, share a cuppa and have a chat.

As they are mutual spaces, the folk that come along muck in to create it, from making the tea to tidying up at the end, or inviting someone to join in with a board game.

This isn't so much a volunteer role as an invitation - come along to the public living room and join in!
