Independent Grant Panelist – Live Well In Stockport Fund

REF: 6a1587034bfa6

The Live Well In Stockport Fund is releasing £450,000 each year for at least 2 years, into the Stockport’s Voluntary, Community and Faith-based & Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector. This grant is funded by Stockport Council and managed by Sector 3.

Sector 3 is organising an Independent Grant Panel, who along with three senior members of Stockport Council, will decide who the funding goes to.

We would especially like to hear from people who have personal experience of the issues the fund is trying to address, such as; health inequalities; living below the poverty line; young people; people experiencing frailty; being under employed or unemployed.

The panel will be held on 30th July from 10am, and could take up to 4 hours. We are expecting at least 60 applications that the panel will have to read and mark, we will send these to the panellists 10 days before the panel. Please allow up to 8 hours to mark these. Lunch will be provided on the day, and travel can be expensed.
