Keep Heaton Moor Park beautiful (3rd Sat each month)

Friends of Heaton Moor Park get together each 3rd Saturday of the month to help maintain the park, which can range from planting bulbs to cutting ivy from trees to tidying flower beds. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tools provided although you may prefer to use your own gloves and hand tools. 10am-12noon, 3rd Saturday each month Meet at the Park Pavilion (nearest entrance is on Buckingham Road, SK4 4RG).

We are a friendly, sociable community group who help preserve and improve the beauty of the unique Victorian Heaton Moor Park. We organise and run popular events, help maintain the flower beds (the council provides limited grounds maintenance), and initiate projects to make the park interesting and enjoyable.
