Organisation description:
The Wellbeing Service has been jointly commissioned by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and HM Prison and Probation service (HMPPS) to work in the community with people on probation to help them meet their goals and aspirations. The service is a partnership led by The Big Life Group comprising of 11 local Greater Manchester organisations. Our mission is to make sure that people have all the tools, information and support they need while on probation. Foundation 92 delivers the Wellbeing Hub for men on probation in Stockport to support and motivate them to make positive changes to a wide range of areas in their life using different interventions. People are supported and empowered to improve their wellbeing, independence, confidence and resilience to deal with different life situations. Support offered helps to prevent and reduce re-offending rates and recall back to prison and overall crime in the community.
