Role

Volunteer driver for monthly activity group at the Rose Walker Centre SK3 0JA. 1-3pm session time.

We are looking for volunteer drivers to collect one or two older guests from there homes and bring them along to the activity group. Once the group has finished take the guest home again.

What in it for you? You can enjoy the activity group by joining in with the gentle exercise such as chair Tai chi, speaking with older guests and having free tea, coffee and cake! You will be given full training and fully supported by Reengage.

Our aim is to bring generations together to reduce loneliness and social isolation amongst older people and bring generations together in friendship and shared experiences. Re-engage is one of the few charities solely committed to tackling the issue of loneliness and social isolation affecting people 75+ by helping them to re-engage through regular social contact through our tea parties, activity groups, call and rainbow call companions. We simply couldn't do what we do without the amazing support of our volunteers across the UK.
