The Dressing Room at Lyme is a big attraction for our visitors and you’ll be a big part of the special days our visitors spend here. The role is flexible. We're looking for volunteers who are able to commit to 3 - 6 hour shifts every other week (or weekly if you would prefer).

Role

Dressing Room Assistants at Lyme help our visitors to feel invited and immerse them in the Regency era by helping them dress in costume. It is an active role where you really get to engage with visitors and share your knowledge about Regency costume, etiquette and manners. You will have great communication skills and the ability to make visitors feel special. No existing knowledge of Regency period or Lyme Park history is required.
