Plastic Shed is a local organisation who finds new and creative ways to reuse plastic waste locally. We are the creators of the UKs largest 100% recycled plastic bottle lid mural based in Stockport centre.
Everything we do has our community at its heart and non of what we do would be possible without that community. From collecting and donations all the plastic that we reuse, to helping us design and create our large scale work - the Stockport community is the core of it all!

We are so proud to be growing and hope that with a team of wonderful volunteers we will be able to recycle more, and offer even more to our community.

Role

We have received funding to set up up to 50 new donation stations to collect even more recycled plastic waste all across stockport and we need your help to make this possible!
With all these new station set ready to go, I can't empty them all by myself.
We need incredible people across Stockport to volunteer around an hour a fortnight to collect and empty the donation points close to where they live and/or work and drop those donations over to us.
These donations are vital to our work and have so far helped to create large scale recycled plastic murals all across the UK, with the UKs largest based here in Stockport, as well as recycled plastic tables, workshops, products and so much more. These donations are the core of everything that we do and with these new bins we can expand the work we can offer back to our community.

Bin bags will be supplied to collect and replace the lid donations into. Being able to drive would make this role easier for yourself but is not essential to the role.
