Missing People Christmas Concert Volunteer

You can help us extend the lifeline we offer to those affected by missing. Use your existing skills or develop new ones and support in different areas of our work from direct support on our Helpline, assisting staff teams in the office, to raising awareness about the work we do at events.

Role

Help spread festive cheer while supporting Missing People! Join us for a magical evening of Christmas classics performed by G4, and be part of the joy by volunteering as an usher. You’ll enjoy beautiful music, maybe even sing along, all while making a meaningful difference. ✨ What You’ll Be Doing As a Volunteer Usher - Welcome guests and help them find their seats - Collect donations during the interval and after the concert using buckets or tap-to-donate card machines We’re also looking for a Lead Volunteer at each venue to: - Collect and count donations at the end of the night - Transfer the funds to Missing People the following day (full instructions provided) 📝 What You Need to Know - No training required – you’ll receive a simple email briefing beforehand and a full briefing on the night - Volunteer shift: 18:00-22:00 at Stockport Town Hall Group volunteering welcome! We’re looking for about 6 volunteers – bring your friends and make it a festive night out. Only one volunteer needs to register per group, just let us know how many of you can join on your form! 🎁
