RSPB Local Group Leader

REF: 69a05002d262d

The RSPB is the UK's largest conservation charity. Local groups are our voice in the community and help to engage people with nature, raise funds for our work and have a lot of fun enjoying and learning about wildlife.

Our Stockport local group is active and very friendly. We are looking for a new leader for the group to help co-ordinate its activities. We want someone who is interested in nature and conservation, but you don't have to be a bird expert. This role is about using your skills to help in the running of the group and keep its work going. It's also a great chance to meet new people and learn about nature and our work.

Role

We are looking for someone who has some experience of working with a committee and helping to organise and support events.

They will be the main point of contact with RSPB HQ.

Training is provided and you will have the support of a friendly and experienced volunteer team as well as from RSPB staff.

If you are a 'people person' with good organisational skills who would like to do their bit for nature in the Stockport area, then we would love to hear from you.
