To organise and lead a group of walkers on short, wellbeing walks around Hazel Grove. Walkers are a variety of abilities from wheelchair users, the elderly, people who find it difficult to get out and socialise to people who just like an opportunity to get outside. Recent walks: HG train station, through Torkington Park, ending at HG library. Through Mirlees Field to Davenport. Around Woodbank Park, Offerton. We need someone to: Plan appropriate walks Advertise the walks Identify local people who will benefit. Sometimes walkers need reminding or collecting from their homes. Lead the walk.
