We are a group of residents who are setting up a community association for Offerton Park housing estate, to organise community events, bring people together and move towards taking over management of Offerton Community Centre for the benefit of local residents. Our plans include monthly film nights, expanding the current community café, restoring the community orchard, and any other activities suggested by residents.

Role

Offerton Park Community Association is looking for committee members, ideally with some experience of running a community group/community centre or similar. As a brand new group, we would benefit from any additional expertise you can offer! We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in community organising, grassroots campaigning, and outreach work.
