Grove Lane Day Centre is situated in Grove Lane Baptist Church in Cheadle Hulme .

We provide an essential service for older people within our community on Tuesday and Thursday each week from 10am to 1.30pm

Each day of the service we provide transport and a freshly cooked two course meal for both our clients and volunteers. Number vary from 25-30 people each day . We have a commercial standard kitchen and provide fresh food for preparation and cooking.

We currently have two cooks but want to increase capacity to ensure that we can continue to provide this service.

Role

Able to cook meals such as casseroles, roast dinners etc from scratch

Grove lane day centre and luncheon club is located with Grove Lane Baptist Church and offers a welcoming environment for older people seeking companionship and home cooked nutritious meals . The centre operates on Tuesday and Thursday and is staffed entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. We welcome clients from the local area irrespective of of the abilities.
