Carols in the Park Helper

'Carols in the Park' is a popular annual event in Heaton Moor Park - brass band, carol singing, Santa's Grotto, family trail, tombola, and plenty of Seasonal drinks and refreshments in the Park Pavilion. We need a large group of helpers and you would be very welcome if yu could help with a stall or refreshments, or with set up / take down before / after the event.

Role

The event is outdoors in a park, so you need appropriate clothing and footwear.

We are a friendly, sociable community group who help preserve and improve the beauty of the unique Victorian Heaton Moor Park. We organise and run popular events, help maintain the flower beds (the council provides limited grounds maintenance), and initiate projects to make the park interesting and enjoyable.
