• Helping deliver activities which engage our young people in our outdoor rec area • Building positive relationships with young people across the youth zone • Working collaboratively with other members of staff and volunteers to support the delivery of sessions • Supporting young people with additional needs • Acting as a positive role model for young people • Promoting an inclusive culture where all young people are listened to, valued and cared for. Our Volunteer Outside Rec Youth Workers create a safe and fun environment in our outside Rec area playing team games, leading outdoor activities and sports. If you’re someone that likes to be in the great outdoors of Manchester, this will be right up your street!

We’re looking for someone who: • Has an interest in creating team building activities and sports in general • Enjoys meeting and engaging with people from a wide range of backgrounds • Is organised and efficient • Shares the same values of HideOut • Is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. Please note that for this role you need to be at least 18 years of age and be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
