Organisation description:
NAPAC (the National Association for People Abused in Childhood) offers emotional support to adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect.
We do this by offering empathy, validation, normalisation, understanding and care. We can also offer information for those who have questions about the impact of abuse, common coping mechanisms, and the different ways in which healing and recovery can be achieved over time. Many adults with a history of childhood abuse continue to suffer – from post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, depression, and other issues. It doesn’t have to be this way – this is the chance for you to change someone’s life for the better.
