Role
To support our service by creating content for and managing different social media channels which include Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn, with an aim to maximise engagement and support. As a Social Media, Marketing and Communications Volunteer, you will be involved in: • Further establishing and maintaining our active social media accounts • Researching and compiling creative content for different social media channels • Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with corporates • Thinking of innovative ways to drive engagement • Identifying target audiences and being up-to-date with current trends Commitment This role would require a commitment to work a minimum of 4 hours per week - time and day flexible, but between Monday and Thursday. A minimum of 6 months of volunteering will be required for reference purposes. Location This would be from our office at Venues at Cornerstone, in central Stockport, and other locations dependent on role. If able, you can work from home. Qualifications, skills, and experience We do not require specific skills and experience, as training will be provided, but the following would be useful: • Experience of using LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and understanding the analytics functions of these platforms • Experience of using Canva do design engaging posts which link in with our brand values. • Excellent ideas for social media campaigns • Good written communication skills - with good attention to detail • Ability to think creatively when sharing content • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, and motivated to work as an individual • Ability to deal in a professional manner when communicating online • Commitment to our values • Ability to work within our policies and procedures • Basic digital photography or video experience will be useful, but not necessaryWhen:
