REF: 68ff413745c75

Are you friendly, organised, and keen to make a real difference? We're looking for a volunteer to support the work of our amazing Mental Health and Peer Support Worker here at Disability Stockport. You'll be helping to keep things running smoothly - whether that's making making calls and liaising with other services, writing letters, taking notes, printing and researching information, or keeping records up to date. You'll also be working closely with our MH/Peer Support Worker, joining them for first appointments with new service users, and helping us gather feedback after training sessions. This role is flexible - you might do just a few hours one week, or up to 10 hours another - perfect if you like variety! Disability Stockport is a warm, welcoming, and unique place to be. You'll gain experience, meet great people, and help us continue to support our community's wellbeing. If you are ready to lend a hand and be part of something meaningful, we'd love to hear from you!

Role

If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you on board! We’re after someone who enjoys a good chat on the phone and feels confident sending friendly emails or letters to other services. You’ll receive full training and support along the way, and a DBS check will be completed before you begin your exciting new role with us.
