Stockport Town Centre will be hosting possibly the world's biggest festival of Morris Dancing on Saturday 26th April 2025. Organised by Adlington Morris Men, in conjunction with Stockport Council and Totally Stockport, we're looking volunteer marshals to keep things running smoothly (hurrying dancers to their next spot and keeping the public safely away from the dances) and to collect donations for Beechwood Cancer Care, mostly by wearing a hi-viz in the sunshine and enjoying the day!

Role

Encouraging performer adherence to schedule
Crowd control - keeping public at a safe distance from performances
Charity collections - holding collection bucket for Beechwood Cancer Care.
Possibly holding key to the central storage facility for performers bags etc., locking/unlocking hourly
